The Westchester County Airport is owned by the County of Westchester in the State of New York. The airport community offers a diverse mixture of commercial, business and private aviation services.
The airport is conveniently located about five miles east of the City of White Plains and approximately 30 miles north of Manhattan. It has been operated as a public-use airport since 1945.
Responding to the needs of its surrounding communities and its unique location, the airport has been a pioneer in the management of its environmental impacts caused by aviation operations.
The airport is managed by the private operator AvPorts, a division of Aviation Facilities Company, Inc., which operates numerous airports and airport facilities around the world.
