Welcome to the official Web site of the Westchester County Airport. Nestled along the border between Westchester County, NY and Greenwich, CT, the Westchester County Airport (IATA: HPN, ICAO: KHPN, FAA LID: HPN) has been serving a diverse aviation community since 1944. Over the decades, the county has strived to balance the needs of the traveling public and aviation communities with the needs of the surrounding neighborhoods. As a result, the airport is managed in a way that respects the environment. Each year an average of 1.8 million passengers arrive or depart on some 23,000 commercial airline flights, directly to and from business and recreational destinations throughout the eastern and southern United States. Connections at major hubs now make it possible for Westchester-originating travelers to access the entire world. The airport is also one of the most active business aviation facilities in the nation with an average of more than 40,000 corporate and charter operations annually. In addition, 300 light aircraft are based here. Facilities, designed to meet the special needs of that segment of the aviation industry, serve about 70,000 operations a year. It is estimated that the airport generates more than 1,300 full-time jobs on site and thousands more nearby, at industries ranging from aviation suppliers to corporate headquarters attracted to the area because of the airport’s convenience. Whether you plan to travel through the airport, do business at the airport, or just learn more about us, we hope this Web site demonstrates how welcome you are in Westchester. | Check Flight Status Real-time arrival and departure flight information is available for today’s flights, exactly as on display at the main terminal.

 | Airport Environmental Management System The Westchester County Airport is committed to achieving excellence in environmental protection by integrating environmental values into all airport activities. This is accomplished through the AEMS, an ISO 14001 certified Airport Environmental Management System through which the airport’s environmental performance is monitored; airport-wide environmental management practices are continually improved; and employees receive environmental training. The Westchester County Airport was, in 2004, the third airport in the U.S. to achieve this level of environmental performance. Learn More |
