The Westchester County Airport is owned by the County of Westchester in the State of New York. The Airport is located in the Towns of Harrison and North Castle and the Village of Rye Brook, New York.
The Airport is conveniently located five miles east of White Plains and about 30 miles north of Manhattan. It has been operated as a public-use airport since 1945.
The airport community offers a diverse mixture of commercial, business and private aviation services. Responding to the needs of its surrounding communities and its unique location, the airport has been a pioneer in the management of its environmental impacts caused by aviation operations.
The airport is managed by the private operator AvPorts, a division of Aviation Facilities Company, Inc., which operates numerous airports and airport facilities around the world.
